On Wednesday 23rd May at 6.30 pm the University of California Berkeley Wind Ensemble, directed by dr. Robert Calonico, will hold a special concert in the Rectorate building auditorium (Aula Magna). 
The gig will be opened by Sapienza University MuSa Classical Orchestra, directed by Francesco Vizioli, with the first movement from Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony. 
The show at Sapienza University is the last one of a brief European tour which will see the Berkeley Wind Ensemble, composed of 50 students aged 18 to 23 years old, perform in Croatia and in some small towns in Central Italy. The program proposed by the young Californian ensemble includes pieces by Holst, Lauridsen, Bernstein, Grainger, Aquilanti and other composers.  Free entry.
